Latest demo build has a simple tutorial built in, a few fixes, and one major addition. 

If the Watcher can see you but can't see your floor tile to drain your energy, it will summon a Hound to a nearby square to do it. Hounds drain your energy like the Watcher, but they don't rotate.

I've also made trees a little more sparse on the demo island, which makes it more challenging to gain height. Enjoy!
